Jalan Raja Uda is a busy main road in Butterworth, Penang. The Butterworth Outer Ring Road is at one end of the long road while Jalan Heng Choon Thian is on the other. Jalan Raja Uda runs through various neighbourhoods and commercial hubs, with rows of shop offices as well as landed homes dispersed throughout.
Landed homes along Jalan Raja Uda are mostly double-storey terraces and semi-detached units, which appear to have been around for quite some years. Shop lots on the other hand, are varied with several different types and heights, with older double-storey shop offices to newer 3-storey and 4-storey developments.
Both commercial and residential properties are at least 1,200 sf in built-up space, with units on the market going for a minimum of RM250,000. Rental is within an acceptable range for either types of properties, at about RM700 per month.

In terms of accessibility, Jalan Raja Uda is connected to the Butterworth Outer Ring Road, which leads to the towns of Seberang Perai, Seberang Jaya, Bukit Mertajam and even the first Penang bridge. From there, the North-South Expressway (NSE) can also be accessed, leading to other towns down south of mainland Penang and the second Penang bridge.
