Suteramas is a quaint township in the peaceful coastal town of Kemaman, Terengganu. The town of Kemaman is also known as Chukai or Cukai. The development will establish convenient living in the heart of Kemaman, with a variety of leasehold landed residences as well as commercial shop offices.
The residential homes of Suteramas appear to be family-oriented, with different varieties of terraces, semi-detached units as well as bungalows to cater to individuals and families of all needs and sizes. There are 137 single-storey terraces within Phase 2 already opened for registration, with prices beginning from RM203,000 for units sized at 1,250 sf. There are also 79 units of affordable 1-storey terraces. Phase 3 will be made-up of 56 double-storey semi-detacheds and 21 double-storey bungalows, though plans are just tentative at the moment.
In terms of accessibility to amenities, the commercial shop offices at Suteramas could provide the basic conveniences that residents may need in the future. Other than that, the development is situated within short distance of the well-established Cukai town, where banks, eateries, restaurants, sundry shops, mini markets, clinics, mosques as well as government offices like the district office, municipal council, and road transport department are located. Schools within the vicinities include SK Bukit Mentok 2, SK Seri Kemaman, SMK Sultan Ismail, SK Sultan Ismail, SK Chukai, and many more.
Suteramas is accessible to and from the town of Cukai via Route T131, which links to Jalan Air Putih. Jalan Air Putih is the main road which runs through the town and can connect to the Lebuhraya Pantai Timur (LPT), also known as the East Coast Expressway, westward. This major highway on the east coast of Malaysia links key areas such as Kuala Terengganu, Jertih, and Kuala Besut in Terengganu as well as Machang, Kota Bharu and even Pengkalan Kubor in Kelantan to each other. Jalan Air Putih meets Federal Route 3 in the Cukai town, which is a coastal highway stretching from the town of Rantau Panjang near the Thai border in Kelantan all the way down to Johor Bahru.
