Akasa is located in Balakong, or as its other name states, Cheras South. It is a serviced apartment that consists of 3 towers, with the highest tower being 36-storeys tall. Apart from the serviced apartment, a boutique retail building will also be built within the area. Developed by Hap Seng Land, the development is slated for completion in 2021.
There are 998 units in the serviced apartment, with 9 different layouts. Built-ups of the units range from 850 sf to 2,048 sf. The smallest layout, Type A, has 2 bedrooms, one utility room and 2 bathrooms. Type G has the highest number of rooms, it has 4 bedrooms, 1 maid room, 1 utility room and 5 bathrooms. However, built with 2,000 sf, it is not the largest unit, as Type E is sized bigger at 2,048 sf.
Units here have a launch price ranging from RM482,888 to RM1,207,888. The serviced residence, just as fitting to its location where residential areas are of a larger volume, caters to a lot of the mass, which includes working adults and medium- to large-sized families.
Akasa has a wide variety of facilities to provide for its tenants, which also includes a man-made beach, the first in the Cheras and Balakong region. Other than that, there are also themed decks where tenants can take a breather or just take a time-out from their hectic schedule. There are also themed lounges, a multi-purpose hall, picnic and barbecue area for social gatherings and events. Tenants of Akasa will never have enough when it comes to convenience, many thanks to its location close to a wide number of amenities. Once completed the retail shops are the nearest amenities to the tenants. Other than that, there is an industrial area that has car dealerships, and some offices. With just a short drive, tenants will be able to reach AEON Cheras Selatan, where shopping for daily needs can be done. Apart from that, schools nearby are such as Sekolah Kebangsaan Taming Jaya and a few more.
The easiest way to reach Akasa would be via the Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway (SILK), with a direct exit from the highway. Via the highway as well, tenants will be able to reach other townships such as Sungai Long, Bandar Mahkota Cheras, Balakong and Seri Kembangan.
