Indra Avenue is a residential development in Taman Tasek Indra, Ipoh. The first phase, comprising 46 units of 2-storey 22’ by 75’ terrace homes, has been completed. The homes came with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Phase 2, also known as Indra Avenue 2, was launched with 66 units of 2-storey 22’ by 70’ link houses. In these latter properties, each bedroom comes with a convertible living room and an en-suite bathroom, while residents can park 2 cars side by side in the car porch. Homes also have an air-well that enhances ventilation in the first floor bathrooms.
Situated next to Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, part of the Federal Route 1, Indra Avenue has excellent connections to surrounding neighbourhoods and other parts of Perak. For starters, Tesco Extra Bercham and a Giant hypermarket are within walking distance of the development. Within a driving distance of no more than 2.5km are two other shopping facilities, AEON Mall Kinta City and Tesco Ipoh.
Moreover, the interchange to the North-South Expressway (NSE) is less than 5 minutes away, also giving residents a straightforward route to other states in western Peninsular Malaysia like Penang and Selangor.
With the Ipoh city centre reachable via a 15-minute drive, residents can take their pick from various hospitals, educational institutions, recreational facilities and retail outlets. Notable schools include Kolej Vokasional Ipoh, Asian Metropolitan International School (AMETIS) and the Quest International University Perak (QIUP). The Stadium Azlan Shah and Stadium Perak are also located in the city centre, as are the fire station, Sultan Abdul Aziz recreational park, governmental buildings and hotels.
However, if one does not wish to travel that far to a medical centre, there is a Pantai Hospital Ipoh less than 10 minutes away in the Taman Ipoh Selatan neighbourhood. Adjacent to Taman Ipoh Selatan is yet another popular neighbourhood, Taman Ipoh Timur, which has a wide range of hotels, eateries and shops, in addition to the Festival Walk street mall.
Also a short distance away from Indra Avenue are the neighbourhoods of Taman Ipoh and Taman Canning. Here, other than well-known dining establishments, residents can find many banks and car service centres. Thus, Indra Avenue might be a good choice if you’re looking for a relatively urban and central location to stay at in Ipoh.
