PR1MA Homes @ Bagan Serai is an affordable homes development by the Perbadanan PR1MA in Bagan Serai, Kerian. The development consists of 1,248 units of terrace houses, set on a 120-acre freehold land parcel.
There are several ways to access the PR1MA Homes @ Bagan Serai development, for example via Federal Road 75, which connects Bagan Serai in eastern Perak with Kuala Kurau located to its west. Residents also can use the Persimpangan Bukit Merah when coming from the North-South Expressway. For those who travel around frequently by train, the KTM Bagan Serai station is less than 6km (or 10 minutes) away.
The development is also 5 to 10 km away from two town centres, Kuala Kurau and Bagan Serai. The former is the smaller of the two, but it has a police station, post office, fire station Bank Simpanan Nasional and RHB Bank branches, coffee shops, warungs and at least two schools – SK Kuala Kurau and SJK (C) Yu Chai.
Bagan Serai town centre’s list of amenities is more extensive, with at least 4 bank branches, Maybank, AmBank, Public Bank and Bank Rakyat, pharmacies and beauty centres, eateries, supermarkets, markets and mini marts, medical facilities, car servicing workshops, a public library, public park, mini stadium and several schools like Kolej Komuniti Bagan Serai, SRA Rakyat Noor Hidayah, SK Jalan Matang Buluh, SK Bagan Serai and SMK Bagan Serai.
Along Jalan Bagan Serai-Kuala Kurau, where the PR1MA Homes are situated, there is also another school a walking distance away, SK Matang Gerdu. Facilities within the gated and guarded development itself are minimal but practical, such as CCTVs, a surau, kindergarten, multi-purpose hall, recreational field and children’s playground.
While the houses might have simple designs, they offer buyers at least 12 layout options, all which have 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Therefore, especially for younger buyers who would like to own a cost-effective house of their own and desire to work in Bagan Serai or the neighbouring industrial or commercial areas, the PR1MA Homes are a good opportunity indeed.
