Apart from that, the said townships also provide commercial centres and more retail outlets such as Subang Square, the SS15 commercial district, Centrepoint, Wisma BU8 and the likes, providing tenants with various service centres, offices, shops, banks and restaurants. There is also a healthy mixture of schools located close to Laman Ara. For example, the Japanese School of Kuala Lumpur is just a stone’s throw away from the residence. Other schools include Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Damansara Jaya, The British School of Kuala Lumpur, and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tropicana.

The residence has easy access from the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), which also links to the Petaling Jaya district. Apart from that, other highways that can be used to reach Laman Ara are such as the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), and KESAS Highway. Public transportation nearby include the Ara Damansara and Lembah Subang Light Rail Transit (LRT) station, plus buses that travel along the Ara Damansara routes.
