Gerbang Tuna is a road in Seberang Jaya, Seberang Perai, connecting Lintang Tenggiri with Lorong Tuna. The road is situated in a central yet relatively peaceful part of Seberang Jaya, with the North-South Expressway (NSE) to its east and Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE) to its north. The main property along Gerbang Tuna is a 5-storey walk-up flat complex, which offers standard residential units measuring about 550 sf. There are also open spaces around the flat, where residents can exercise. From Gerbang Tuna, it is about 15 to 20 minutes to the Penang Bridge. Just about 5 minutes away from the road, residents also can find one of Penang’s largest malls, Sunway Carnival Mall, which houses various banks, food and beverage outlets, beauty product shops, Giant Hypermarket and Parkson. Other nearby amenities include the Billion Shopping Centre, Open University Malaysia, clinics, telecommunication service centres and more banks. To the east of the NSE, there is the Hospital Seberang Jaya, approximately 5 minutes from Gerbang Tuna. AEON Big Perai is also located a short distance from the hospital, although to drive here you need to make a large U-turn due to the surrounding one-way roads. Adding to the list of amenities near Gerbang Tuna, there is a Tesco Extra to the north of the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE). Thus, while the flat along Gerbang Tuna is rather aged, it has a convenient location that will no doubt draw potential tenants.
