About Bangsar
Bangsar is one of the high end localities in Malaysia, neighbouring both Mont Kiara and Sri Hartamas. It is located on the edge of the city centre, and is amongst the favorites of immigrating expats looking to relocate to Malaysia. There are many high end boutiques and malls concentrated in this area, with no more available land available for much development, giving the subsale market good value. There is however still unfortunately much congestion in certain parts due to the MRT line construction in the area as well as at the exit route at Pantai Hospital. There is a good mix of ethnicity groups in this area, with the majority being of expats, followed by Chinese and Indians. The commercial area of Bangsar is concentrated around Bangsar Village, where snatch theft is very unfortunately a common crime.
