About Tingkat Laut

Properties for Sale in Tingkat Laut

Tingkat Laut is a quiet residential neighbourhood located in the seaside town of Tanjung Bungah, Penang. The housing estate appears to have been around for quite a number of decades, but has been well-kept, with double-storey bungalow homes surrounded by manicured lawns. There is also an apartment residence which was built sometime throughout those years. The bungalow homes at Tingkat Laut are spacious and designed with clean lines typical of the homes built in the late 20th century. There are also some 3-storey bungalows which were individually designed and recently rebuilt over the existing homes. Built-up space of the double-storey homes is estimated at about 2,500 sf. Given the large land and built-up structure of the freehold homes at Tingkat Laut, subsale prices are also on the higher end at beginning prices of about RM3,600,000. There are also units which have been put up for lease at around RM2,400 per month. Certain units also get to enjoy views of the sea, which could call for even higher prices. Apart from being able to enjoy the sea breeze, residents of Tingkat Laut are within convenient reach of numerous amenities as well. Just down the main residential road is Jalan Tanjung Bungah where several commercial hubs house restaurants, eateries, cafes, food courts, convenience stores, pharmacies and even a petrol station. The Dalat International School is also within proximity of the neighbourhood. More amenities like a Tesco hypermarket, the Straits Quay mall, as well as wider choices of schools will require a drive to Seri Tanjung Pinang, Tanjung Tokong, Gurney Drive or even Georgetown. Jalan Tanjung Bungah enables ease of access to and from Tingkat Laut and other parts of the city. The road connects to Jalan Tanjung Tokong and Jalan Batu Ferringhi, as well as other major roads such as Jalan Kelawai, Jalan Burma, and Jalan Perak. The Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway is also about 20 minutes from the neighbourhood, which leads to the first Penang bridge about an additional 20 minutes’ drive away.
