Residential opposite UOA Bangsar to be torn down? 8

I've heard quite sometime ago that the residential opposite of UOA Bangsar will be torn down soon??? Is that still true? But that building has just been repainted though. So if it's true, why would the management repaint it?

I heard from a friend working inside, a quite top level one, that they are confirmed going to tear it down. I told him that there's no official news but he insists and guarantees that they are going to tear it down. Ah well.. only time will tell.

But I have to say, that place is a cesspool of congestion after work hours. It's a freakish nightmare!

How strange. I've lived in Bangsar all my life and I had no idea about this. Whereabouts is this place opposite UOA? As in, what is the residential place we're talking about here?

So, will UOA be paying compensation to the tenants / owners? How much are they paying them off?

Was told the big institute along Jalan Bangsar and next to the old row of worn down shop houses (Jalan Abdullah) will be torn down and rebuilt. Confirmed already.

Personally have not heard of the announcement yet. Maybe, maybe not. Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be.
