Berjaya Golf Resort Bhd, a subsidiary of Berjaya Land Bhd (BLand) has entered into a lease agreement with Trendcell Sdn Bhd (Trendcell) which will see Trendcell operate a Jaya Grocer store with food and beverage outlets at the commercial space of The Tropika, Bukit Jalil measuring a total area of 23,695 sf.

Berjaya Land Bhd chief executive officer Syed Ali and Trendcell chief financial officer Chong Han Keong were the signatories of the signing ceremony at Berjaya Property Gallery, Bukit Jalil.

Berjaya Land Bhd senior general manager, property sales and marketing division Tan Tee Ming and Berjaya Land Bhd head of department, advertising and promotions Ho Yong Pheng also graced the event.

Tan Tee Ming expressed, “The management of Jaya Grover adopts a very strategic and prudent approach in identifying a suitable location for its outlets. As such we are delighted and honoured that the Tropika has been chosen as the location for its next store as this indicates that The Tropika is a premier location in Bukit Jalil.”

Chong Han Keong explained, “We have chosen to expand into The Tropika after ample consideration due to its location at the heart of Bukit Jalil. We are not just looking to provide the best grocery shopping to the residents of The Tropika but to also extend the convenience to the surrounding Bukit Jalil community.”

The Tropika is a gated and guarded residence located on 6.5 acres of freehold land in Bukit Jalil. The residential part of the project has 868 units within 4 towers with 4 different types of specially designed units measuring between 732 sf and 1,318 sf. The low number of units designated to a level (5 to 7 units a level), also provide sufficient privacy to all its residents.

Adding to that there is also a biophilic-designed 2-9-acre deck equipped with 68 types of facilities grouped under 8 lifestyle categories connecting the 4 residential towers.

The Tropika also features commercial spaces aside from the 23,695 sf taken up by Jaya Grocer. These include 2-storey dual frontage office lots ranging from 3,316 sf to 3,814 sf as well as retail spaces ranging between 752 sf and 1,677 sf.

Getting to The Tropika is a breeze as it has easy access to major highways and public transportation such as Rapid KL Bus and Light Rail Transit (LRT) train services. Apart from that, there are various established educational institutions along with sporting and recreational facilities within close proximity to the upcoming residential development as well.
