Last week, IJM Land Bhd and its joint venture partner, FCW Holdings Bhd, co-developers for Savio, hosted a topping-up ceremony at the rooftop of the development to mark the completion of the structural frame of Savio Multi-Generational Suites.

Savio is the first of a three-phase development of Riana Dutamas, a 37-storey tower offering several layouts from one to three-bedroom apartment units with varying built-ups ranging from 653 sf to 1,177 sf with a gross development value of RM565 million. It has to-date achieved a take-up rate of 90%.

Riana Dutamas is a mixed integrated development set on 16-acre freehold land in emerging Segambut. It consists of six blocks of serviced residences, office spaces and retail outlets. The overall GDV of the project is about RM1.5 billion.

With its affordable price, location, great connectivity and value propositions, it is no surprise that the project has piqued keen interest from home buyers and investors alike. The 1,018-unit Savio remains on track for its targeted completion in 2021.

“We are very thrilled to hit this milestone with the development of Savio which commenced in January 2018. In keeping to our commitment of quality and time frame, we have successfully and safely completed the Savio’s structural works up to the final floor within 19 months.

The project’s great progress is attributed to the close collaboration between both the IJM Land and FCW Holdings teams, as well as our great partner in Setiakon Builders, who have worked tirelessly to get us to this point,” enthused IJM Land Bhd managing director Edward Chong.

Edward added, “We are very encouraged by the strong take-up for Savio and this serves as a testament to the value and potential of the project. Looking at the take-up rate to-date, we expect Riana Dutamas will be able to raise the bar for residential properties in Segambut.”

Also present at the topping-up ceremony was IJM Corporation Bhd chief executive officer and managing director Dato’ Soam Heng Choon, FCW Holdings Bhd executive director Robert Tan and Setiakon Builders Sdn Bhd founder and managing director Dato’ Kuan Ah Hock.
