Gamuda has reached a new digital transformation milestone with its Gamuda Land Mobile (GL Mobile). Branded as ‘The One App’, the multiple award-winning property developer will now be able to provide a comprehensive experience to their property buyers throughout their entire homeownership journey with Gamuda Land.

According to Aw Sei Cheh, Chief Operating Officer of Gamuda Land, Gamuda Land has spent over two decades creating places that people will call home – a place that they will grow up and grow old in. Aw further went on to say that, “As we continue to focus on sound master planning and innovative placemaking, we do not lose sight of delivering long term values to our communities through constant innovation. Digital transformation is how we look at the details and plan for tomorrow to create a better customer experience for our community”.

According to the latest survey from Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the internet penetration in Malaysia currently stands at 87.4%. The results further stated that internet users spend an average of 6.6 hours online on a daily basis, with 9 out of 10 users utilising their smartphones to go online – totalling approximately 25.7 million Malaysians.

Aw said that, “The digital world has changed the way we consume content and in fact today’s technology alters and to a certain extent, dictates our behaviour and lifestyles. This is why Gamuda Land is evolving with the times to enhance our customer experience. Last year we launched GL Friends loyalty programme and formed strategic partnerships to bring high-speed internet to our townships and digitalise our operations. With this app launch, we are taking steps towards enhancing our customer service by increasing our brand presence, ensuring that our valued customers are satisfied with the level of services through real-time access to the information they need and other conveniences”.

Gamuda Land stated that the launch of The One App is part of the group’s efforts to create a group-wide digital transformation with technology being the catalyst – from envisioning home design through the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM), to building them in the nation’s first digital industrialised building system (IBS) factory. An example of the group’s initiatives to being a digital leader is their development of Gamuda Cove, the nation’s first Maxis-delivered 5G township.

Gamuda Land Mobile will also play a part in the bigger picture, of creating a smart lifestyle in its communities. Future updates of the app and implementations of smart technologies in Gamuda Land’s developments will bring further conveniences to the app’s users.

The Gamuda Land Mobile is an application that will provide comprehensive end-to-end services to potentially new and existing owners of Gamuda Land property. The app will allow users to browse Gamuda Land’s properties, and enable them to experience living in the property. Some of the features included in the app are as below:

1. One-stop access to residence management functions

- Visitor management functions to eliminate guest registration

- Book residential facilities from anywhere

- Personal laundry services (laundry delivered to your doorstep), florist services and many others

2. Easy access to Gamuda Land’s features and benefits

- Built-in unique QR code for members of Gamuda Land’s GL Friends loyalty programme and GL Acquaint, so that users will be able to access their membership rewards and status at all times.

- Members will receive early invitations to Gamuda Land’s special events as well as gain priority access and registration in all said events.

- GL Friends can also utilise their status to claim discounts and incentives from over 70 GL Merchants all through the app.

- Members can be rewarded with cashback incentives for referring Gamuda Land properties to eventual purchasers.

Future updates to the app will include more features. Among some of the features that users will be able to look forward to, includes the ability to view attraction maps as well as purchase tickets for attractions across Gamuda Land’s projects, such as for the Gamuda Land’s Discovery Park, water theme park, and malls. Other features that are in the pipeline include household maintenance services, a marketplace, and a shuttle bus schedule.
