Gamuda Land and Maybank Islamic have officially teamed up to create easier home ownership for property buyers. Gamuda Land launched the GL H.O.M.E last October, and have since then looked for ways to enhance their offering. In an effort with Maybank Islamic, they have now achieved that effect with a new financial scheme under their campaign.

Constant Innovation

Said Ngan Chee Meng, Chief Executive Officer of Gamuda Land, “Constant innovation is one of the values that we believe in, where we equate innovation to evolution and constantly evolve with the times to improve our products, one of it being GL H.O.M.E.

“This is one of our proactive and innovative solutions to ease property ownership. Yet we know that we need to consistently push our boundaries to ensure this campaign stays relevant to the market and ahead of the curve. With that, we are pleased to have Maybank Islamic’s HouzKEY to be on board GL H.O.M.E, adding an alternative financial scheme to our existing solutions.”

GL H.O.M.E

GL H.O.M.E is short for Gamuda Land Home Ownership Made Easy. The aim of this offering is to offer tailored one-stop solutions to property buyers, where they are assisted through selecting the most suitable financing option for themselves, and in turn, purchasing their dream home with ease.

Sally Lye, Managing Director of Maybank’s Real Estate Ventures said, “It is a great pleasure to welcome projects by Gamuda Land to Maybank Islamic’s HouzKEY solution. Guided by our mission to humanise financial services, our priority is to provide a solution that helps to address the growing homeownership concerns in Malaysia.

“We truly believe that the opportunity to own a home should not be a privilege, but a necessity for all. We are confident that the combination of our financing solution with Gamuda Land’s projects can be a great opportunity for first-time homebuyers and upgraders in realising their dream to own a home.”

HouzKEY

With GL H.O.M.E and Maybank Islamic’s HouzKEY, homebuyers may for the first time be able to purchase their dream homes with great advantages. Potential buyers will be able to purchase their dream homes without a down payment, and they are also not required to finance their loan until the completion of their home.

Another great benefit they will get to enjoy is to lock down the price of their selected property for the next 5 years, and obtain a 100% loan margin when they are ready to make their purchase. The only thing that is required from the home buyer is a 3-month security deposit, and a low monthly repayment when they move into their home.

“We foresee that the option of Maybank Islamic’s HouzKEY through GL H.O.M.E is especially attractive to young, first and second-time homebuyers. The scheme gives our buyers better cash flow by paying low monthly instalment and yet able to lock in today’s property price while enjoying capital appreciation 5 years later,” concluded Ngan.
