Glomac’s projects within the Petaling Jaya areas are on track, despite challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic that started in March 2020.

Glomac’s Chief Operating Officer (Operations) En. Zulkifly Garib said “Despite the pandemic challenges such as stop-work order during the first MCO and then later the scaled-down construction schedule all developers had to face since the beginning of Covid-19 in Malaysia, Glomac’s high rise projects in Petaling Jaya namely 121 Residences and Plaza@Kelana Jaya are still being constructed on time. “In fact, we are days ahead in terms of construction progress for both these high-rises,” he said.

He attributed this stellar performance to the hard work by Glomac’s Project teams and business partner contractors who have all cooperated diligently and consistently in overcoming the various obstacles imposed as a result of the pandemic. “Our aim is to deliver our products to the homeowners on time. We believe everyone has been affected by Covid-19 and its subsequent financial effect. On-time delivery of the properties will reduce financial stress of buyers who are first home owners waiting to move into their new home,” Zulkifly was telling the media during an online interview.

“Glomac is no-newcomer to the niche development scene, having completed Suria Stonor Residences in KLCC, and the sold-out Damansara Residences in Damansara-Petaling Jaya. Glomac was also the developer of highly successful Aman Suria Residences in Petaling Jaya. As a responsible developer, Glomac will strive to continue to deliver quality homes in strategic locations,” promised Zulkifly,

At the township level, award-winning Glomac also developed the Bandar Saujana Utama and Saujana Perdana townships in Sungai Buloh. Having successfully launched its double-storey landed homes at Mawar Sari in November 2020 which enjoyed 90% take up rate, and recently, Dahlia Sari terraced homes, in February 2021, Saujana Perdana is poised to be a wholesome neighbourhood complete with amenities and facilities for good living.

Last week, Glomac unveiled Primrose, its newest double-storey terrace homes in Saujana KLIA, Sepang which met with encouraging response.

Zulkifly says homebuyers should take advantage of the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2020-2021 benefits that most of Glomac’s properties are participating in, where buyers can save thousands of Ringgit in stamp duties and legal fees. The HOC will end in May 2021.
