If not mistaken, its applies to all kind of properties. The calculations are like these; Present charges are 1st RM100k for 1%, following with RM400k for 2% and 3% for the rest of amount. New charges from January 2017 are from 3% to 5%, which means properties below RM500k would not have any changes. Anyway, everything has to be confirmed by federal government on next moth.
