Bandar Putra Kulai is a mixed development township that is otherwise known as IOI Bandar Putra. As its name indicates, this township is a product of the leading Malaysian developer IOI Properties Group. Bandar Putra Kulai was launched in 2001 and continues to grow to this day. Bandar Putra Kulai is home to approximately 8% of the population in Kulai, and comprises residential developments and recreational segments. The entire township sits on freehold land, and as of the year 2016, it was home to a population of about 19,793.
