The Palm is one of the few phases in HillPark @ Shah Alam North, an upcoming township located in Puncak Alam, next to Bandar Saujana Utama. The residence consists of double-storey link homes with 682 units within the vicinity. Phase 1 of the development, spearheaded by MKH Berhad, is due to be completed in 2019. The units are designed with the ‘Kajiraku’ concept, originating from Japan, with the emphasis of practical layouts to improve the quality of life for its tenants. There are 3 layouts, all having the same built-up, which is 1,474 sf, and also come with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. However, it’s different land space is what separates the 3 apart, with Type A, B and C being 20' x 70', 20' x 75' and 20' x 80' respectively. Thus price was also allocated according to the land space, with Type A units going from RM690,000, Type B at RM720,700 and Type C at RM751,500. Facilities for The Palm are located at the front of the residences. The residents will have a multi-purpose hall for social gatherings and events. Other than that, a public surau is also provided. A landscaped park envelops the front of the residential area, where tenants can enjoy a stroll around and get some fresh air. But there are lack of facilities within HillPark as the area is still in developing phase. However, the residence is privileged to be located in between a few townships of the northern Shah Alam region, such as Puncak Alam, Alam Jaya and Bandar Saujana Utama. Universiti Teknologi MARA is located in Puncak Alam, and is just a short drive away from The Palm. Over in Alam Jaya, an industrial park with a commercial area is present, where tenants can find materials, as well as some restaurants and workshops. There is also an Econsave in Alam Jaya where tenants can do their shopping for daily necessities. Bandar Saujana Utama has more of a complete variety when it comes to amenities, which also includes the Saujana Utama Mall and schools such as Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Saujana Utama and Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Pristana. The Palm is easily accessible via Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari. Highways such as the Guthrie Corridor (GCE) and Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor (LATAR) Highway are also accessible from the residences, connecting to districts such as Sungai Buloh, Subang Jaya and Kuala Selangor. The new Damansara-Shah Alam Highway (DASH), which is still in the works, will also be another alternative for residents to get to their homes in the near future.
