Aramas is a high-rise residential apartment located in Sungai Ara, Penang. The development consists of 2 blocks, with each towering 19 storeys high. Completed many years back in 2005, the homes appear to be in well-maintained condition.
The homes at Aramas are freehold and come in 2 types, namely standard units and duplex units. The standard homes are 750 sf in built-up size, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The duplex variants are much larger, at 1,400 sf of space. To much surprise, the larger duplex units also have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Despite its age, Aramas offers a number of basic but nonetheless useful facilities, such as a swimming pool, gymnasium and playground. There is even a sauna which residents can use. Apart from that, there is also a covered parking lot within the compound of the residence. 24-hour security is also provided. Aramas homes are priced in the medium range, with units beginning from RM320,000. Rental is also around average, with monthly prices of RM800.
Aramas is located close to other high-rise residences, as such, a number of amenities like mini markets and eateries have cropped up nearby. Schools like SK Bayan Lepas, the Straits International School, SMK Sungai Ara, SRJK (C) Chong Cheng, and SK Mutiara Perdana are also within the vicinities. More conveniences like a Giant hypermarket, D’Piazza Mall and Sunshine Square are just a few minutes’ drive away in the towns of Bayan Baru and Relau. Hospital Pantai Mutiara is also close at hand in case of any need for medical attention.
Situated along Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim, Aramas is easily accessible to and from major roads like Jalan Tun Dr. Awang, Jalan Bayan, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and even the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway not too far off. With that, the Penang International Airport and Bayan Lepas industrial area are just about 10 minutes from the property while access to the second Penang bridge is about 20 minutes away. Northwards, the first Penang bridge is also about the same distance away while Georgetown is approximately 30 minutes’ journey away.
