Apart from that, the Mall follows a green concept, aiming for a Green Building Index (GBI) Gold certification, with a 25,000 sf park to be located within the vicinity. The mall will also see 3 more properties connected to it, which are the UPtown Residences, Somerset Damansara Uptown, and UPtown 8.

As mentioned, the retail outlet will revolve around an eco-friendly concept, along with keeping up with the latest trend, being a green lifestyle mall for the residents nearby. The landscaped park that is included inside the mall will house brooks, a bird bath as well as a wide variety of landscapes.

The Starling Mall will provide loads of amenities for residents of Damansara Utama, housing restaurants, boutiques, and clothing stores. It also houses the largest MBO Cinema, and a grocer for residents to get their daily necessities. The commercial shop lots outside the mall are made up of many more restaurants, banks, clinics, service centres, cafes and other amenities, this will surely be of more convenience to those who visit the mall and the mall's tenants.

Apart from that, The Starling Mall neighbours a number of matured townships, which can provide revenue to business owners in the mall, some nearby townships include Mutiara Damansara, Kota Damansara, Kelana Jaya, SS2, Damansara Kim and Taman Tun Dr. Ismail.

The mall can be easily reached via the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP). Via the highway, investors can also connect to further townships, which includes Kuala Lumpur via the SPRINT Highway, and Puchong through the KESAS Highway. Traffic can be a bit of an issue here, but that has since been eased with the road expansion in Damansara Utama and the multi-level parking provided by the mall.
