Empire Subang is an integrated residential area built under the Small office Home Office (SoHo) concept. The residential areas consists of condominiums while the Empire Shopping Gallery is located on the bottom levels. There is a clubhouse that is available exclusively for its residents and hotel guests. While it provides an atmosphere of upscale living, traffic leading to and from Empire Subang is constantly congested. As of 2014, the MRT project that is scheduled to be completed in 2015 is one of the main reasons it remains congested. Traffic is however expected to improve upon completion of the MRT project. Aside from that, Empire Subang also faces one of the main roads that leads to the Federal Highway which means that even after road expansion, Empire Subang could still face heavy traffic.
