Subang Jaya has now become a bustling and self-contained township with positive economic growth. This makes it one of the top sustainable addresses in Klang Valley. To date it has a population of more than 700,000. With factors that influence livability, no doubt Subang Jaya is one of the best property hotspots in the Klang Valley. Here’s why.

1. Abundance of Amenities

Once upon a time - in the 70s, Subang Jaya used to be a rubber plantation. Fast forward to present time, one can see how Sime Darby Property has helped developed Subang Jaya into a vibrant city it is today. Located approximately 20km away from Kuala Lumpur city centre, in between Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya has a lot to offer.

A mature district, one can expect an endless supply of food and beverages (F&B), leisure and entertainment options. Besides being spoilt for choice on where to eat and places to hang out, there are also a plethora of higher education institutions, independent retail stores, medical centres, banks, petrol stations, recreational parks, and many more.

Looking at some of the reviews above, our users agree that there is something for everyone in the neighborhood and amenities are all within easy reach. There really is no reason to get out of Subang Jaya!

2. Connectivity Convenience

The major concern that people have about Subang Jaya is its traffic during peak hours. Based on the number of the population here, it is understandable why it is congested at all times. With that being said, we can see now that the township is enhancing its connectivity with the developments of MRT, LRT, BRT and KTM. This has helped the community here to travel around Klang Valley more seamlessly. To add, getting around here wouldn’t be a hassle as well since most amenities are located nearby to each other.

Apart from that, this place is also adjacent to myriads of major highways like Damansara-Puchong Highway, New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Federal Highway, South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), Kemuning–Shah Alam Highway (LKSA), North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE) and Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) - connecting Subang Jaya across Malaysia. Going to and fro has never been easier.

What makes the township’s connectivity even better is the upcoming project by Sime Darby Property - Lot 15, located in SS16. It is adjacent to Subang Jaya LRT station, with interconnection to nearby facilities and amenities. Plus, it is easily accessible via the mentioned highways.

Targeting millennials who are also first time buyers, parents who are looking after their children’s welfare, as well as investors, this serviced residence offers unit types ranging from 1+1 to 2+1 bedrooms. The price of the units starts from RM593,888 and is open for sale. If you’re interested in this property or have inquiries, contact +603-5631 8888 or click here for more information.

3. A Home For The Urban Community

Besides its evolving development, Subang Jaya is where many passionate and successful pioneers were born like Joe Flizzow and Yuna. Due to its distinctive culture, you can also see loads of movements and businesses popping up here. Take SS15 for example, there is a collection of restaurants, hipster cafes, fashion stores and quirky shops available.

This municipality has a promising business prospect because of its healthy mix of population - constant flow of students, working adults and retirees. No wonder it has become a one-stop city, promoting harmony and togetherness. One thing that most Subangites will agree is that Subang Jaya has a strong touch of community that will make you feel like you belong.

So, there you have it. Based on these three reasons, don’t you agree that Subang Jaya is a property hotspot? Do you have any opinions about this thriving neighbourhood? Share with us in the comment box below.

With so many developments under Sime Darby Property. In other words, Sime Darby Property is the "founder" of modern Subang Jaya?

@sultana

Any idea if Subang Jaya is fully developed by Sime Darby now?

Before all the rapid development,  I guess it was filled with palm trees?

@domng Just like in the article, it used to be a rubber plantation, which was owned by Sime Darby too. I guess from there they just diversify their venture and make use of the land to build property. I won't say fully, but most of the developments there are by Sime Darby.

No doubt there's a popular hotspot for teenagers/ middle age people to hang out with the numbers of hipster cafes, foods and abit of entertainment. Plenty of housing and development there whereby its nearing the shah alam /glenmarie side.

Just like Petaling Jaya before it became a city, Subang Jaya has developed into a major housing township with all the amenities. Prices of houses has increased but not as high yet as most parts of Petaling Jaya. I have listed a few houses for sale from single storey to double storey link houses for sale between RM600k to RM900k.
