Taman Rowther is one of the newer housing developments in Gombak with compelling countryside designs. It is a private little enclave which the residents enjoy the quiet and peaceful environment provided, which is highly suitable for a family. Due to its very strategic location close to many highways and amenities, the prices of these homes have been on a steady incline over the years. Taman Rowther does however have a rather bleak history, as it was once an abandoned project from the year 2007 to 2010 where only its structures completed. The buyers of 48 units of this property then appealed to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall to complete the roads and streetlights in their area, with 40% of the costs to be paid back to the City Hall in form of assessment taxes.
