Taman Suria Jaya is an integrated township located in Cheras South and is surrounded by other townships such as The Peak, Taman Tun Perak, and Taman Bukit Angsana. As Taman Suria Jaya is situated within close proximity to so many other townships, residents have the pleasure of accessing the conveniences in either the township that they are residing at or from the other townships close by. However, there was an incident when residents woke up one morning to find that their water meters had been stolen. A sum of RM60.20 per household had to be paid to have the water meters replaced, which sparked a furore among the residents as to why they should have to pay for the meters which were installed outside their homes.
