The Cheong Hin group of companies was founded in the early 1900s as a small family business dealing in the trading and servicing of bicycles which, at that time, were the main form of transportation. Business thrived and from there Cheong Hin diversified into the trading of electrical appliances, timber logging and finally into property development in 1980 with its maiden residential project, Taman Maju Jaya.

Since then, Cheong Hin has built its reputation as a developer with an unblemished track record for delivering quality homes and buildings on time.
