While being one of the older condominiums in Kuchai, Bukit Gembira is still the ideal home for many families who find the convenient accessibility to various amenities much to their liking. While the roads are quite congested during peak hours, getting to the city centre only takes a maximum of half an hour during the worst of times due to the convenient access to various expressways. Feedbacks received from a longtime resident were generally on the positive side, with good maintenance being a major plus point. According to the resident, 90% of the occupants are Chinese, and that the management body has a very healthy cash flow. The only setback to the Bukit Gembira condominium is the lack of strata title as the developer is already bankrupt. As such, the condominium is still under Master Title which is a major pain; with no updates to-date. Also mentioned by the resident was that even though the condominium was completed in 1996, the owners only obtained their keys in 1999.
