Casamas Condo is a condominium project that is located next to Estuary Court in Ukay, Ampang. It is a development of three blocks, whereby Block A and Block B were abandoned projects of Kumpulan Promista Sdn Bhd. Although Block A was completed, Block B was built only up to the sixth of the eight floors. The new developers plan to complete Block B of the development with an estimated GDV of RM49.8 million. There has been no news on Block C as of Q1 2016, only that the developers have reserved it for future development. Rumoured to have been sold at between 15%-20% below market price, Casamas Condo was relaunched in 2013 to a very enthusiastic market. It was viewed to be a highly desirable investment due to its central location and easy accessibility, but many were apprehensive of the development due to the abandonment issue; and also that the new developers of Casamas Condo were unknown entities. The continuation of Casamas Condo is a joint development between Caely (M) Sdn Bhd and Kismajaya Sdn Bhd. The former is a company that was incorporated in 1986, whose core business is direct selling lingerie to the Malaysian market. The company’s most distinguished award so far is the Tan Sri Fatimah Avon Women of Distinction Awards 1995. The latter is on the other hand a developer with no track record in the market. Spanning 7.09 acres of leasehold land, Casamas Condo was fully sold out shortly after its relaunch. All the units are partially furnished with two air-conditioners and a water heater in the master bathroom. The master bedroom and second bedroom are also furnished with wardrobes, and the kitchens with built-in kitchen cabinets. The units will come with plaster ceilings as well. Sized at between 882 sf and 1,488 sf with a relaunch price of RM387,000, all the units come with only one parking lot regardless of its size. The facilities at Casamas Condo will be rather limited with only a swimming pool and gymnasium. It will be located on the seventh floor of Block B, with a bridge connecting Block A to Block B.
