Taman Cheras Mas is an integrated neighbourhood located in Cheras South among other housing areas like Taman Lagenda Mas, The Peak and Taman Rasa Sayang. Taman Cheras Mas consists of landed properties, factories and shop lots where tenants and residents can just drive out to easily access the amenities within its immediate surrounding. However, there were disputes over the issue of the gated community plan in the area on whether the plan should go on despite not having unanimous votes from the residents. Residents were not convinced that the plan would be good as the security guard’s post was situated far from the homes.
