Basically one of my client meet the requirement to apply mortgage loan, the only major change happened this year is PTPTN credit history.

If he go to PTPTN office to restructure his loan and start to repay the installment based on new installment rate offered by PTPTN, the bank will still consider to approve his loan? or still will still have negative impacts on this credit rating which may lead to loan reject too.

Yup, it was only recently that PTPTN will be taken into account and affect your CCRIS. I think it will only be cleared from CCRIS when everything is cleared and it will take several months from then. Whether banks will still consider or not, is not just based on PTPTN, it's based on several criteria. So, have to see his overall scoring, not just this point. 

People should be more responsible. If u take the loan, u have to make sure u pay back. 

In cases that the family u can afford it, don't take the loan, leave it to others who really need the loan. I know of many rich family children are applying for this PTPTN loan.... i don't know how they can get their application approved. When they get the money, they go and buy new phones, new clothing/shoes etc. So sad!

When a student has taken a loan from PTPTN, he or she should be responsible for the payment rather than running away from their responsibilities.

Sure, they must pay, no excuse.

Now PTPTN offer discount, as announce in Budget 2017. More will repay I believe. Or are they waiting even more discount?

Good for people who have cash on hands to pay back immediately.

Best is still study hard and graduate with first class honors... automatically convert to scholarship and no need pay back

Not all the 1st class will get the waiver of loan, still need to pay back.
