When you say “Klang,” the first thing that most people think of is the aromatic smell of the city’s renowned and authentic bak kut teh, a local meat dish cooked in herbal broth. Being one of the oldest cities in Malaysia, Klang contains many historical beauties that even locals might miss. Formerly known as “Kelang” by older generations, it used to be a royal capital of the Selangor state and is a royal city that possesses a history that predates even Melaka. In fact, remnants of prehistoric ...

Known for their award-winning developer and concepts, Setia Alam is a well-planned township in Shah Alam that hosts a peaceful lifestyle in a green city. Taking a walk in its lush greenery is inspiring and calming. Formerly an oil palm estate spanning over 4,000 acres of land, Setia Alam has evolved into the flagship development by SP Setia Group that you see today. It is home to Setia Eco Park, the winner of the World’s Best Master Plan Development in 2007. The township has become the standa ...
Setia Alam
Setia Alam is one of the best place to live due to its superb township planning and grenery parks. It has most of the shops and malls that you need; hence no reason to travel out of Setia Alam during weekends. Traffic towards NKVE during weekdays morning can be challenging but manageable.

Subang Jaya is home to well known educational facilities, long-lasting traffic, and bubble tea. Subang Jaya is a large township, referred to as Subang by locals. Subang Jaya was a rubber plantation in the 1970s. Now, the area shows no signs of its origins with its large, bustling population. The entirety of the area was developed by Sime Darby. Most of Subang Jaya consists of landed properties. Prices of property have steadily increased over the years. 10 years ago, a house could be boug ...
Subang Jaya
I grew up in this vicinity and I absolutely love this neighborhood. From the location of being so accessible to almost anywhere to having one of the best amenities in a stone's throw distance, there are no reasons to actually get out from Subang and hence the joke of people saying Subangites are rather selfish and they do not go out from Subang. But jokes aside, I would like to believe Subang will be the next Bangsar or MK in years to come. The traffic can be haphazard at times but it's at a managable level, the food variety is acceptable and the people are just friendlier on so many level.

Cheras is known for its amazing food, infamous traffic, and being self-contained. This is not surprising, given that it is a developed and sprawling township. It is both a suburb and a district, which straddles both the states of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. This township was once just a small and sleepy tin mining town that was home to a mere 500 residents. However, due to overpopulation in Kuala Lumpur over the years, Cheras was gradually developed into the metropolis it is today. Cheras is ...
