Just wondering, anybody have any advice in the event of a stamp duty fraud? What are the consequences?

if stamp duty not paid (or stamp value not sufficient), then the document is not a LEGAL DOCUMENT... in other words, cannot be used in court.

Please correct me if mistaken.

I would like to clarify... if the document was drafted on our own writing without any feedback or input from lawyers... even if the document is fully stamped... will it be deemed "useless" in a court case?

Not sure about the court case thingie how will it works, but I have check with the stamp office for solution. Apparently it isn't rocket science, you just have to pay the penalty and re-stamp it shall do. The penalty isn't as expensive as it may seem too. So it's ok. This is quite common back in the days where law firms have rely on their dispatch to do the stamping. 

So the lesson I've learnt and would like to share with you guys are simple, next time after your documents are stamped, kindly login the website to ensure the stamp duty is authentic and paid.
