Shineville Park at Farlim, Penang is a towering 40-storey condominium complex which houses a respectable sum of 299 units. Completed in 2014, this single-tower property is freehold and developed by OHM Group.

Units come in six layouts with 4 variants of condominiums, which are Type A, Type A1, Type A2 and Type A3, and 2 different layouts of penthouse units, Type B and Type C. Type A is sized at 1,650 sf with 4+1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Type A1 also has a 4+1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms layout but is slightly smaller at 1,600 sf. Type A2 is 1,650 sf in built-up area with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms while Type A3 is the smallest at 1,300 sf and a 3+1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms layout. Type B penthouse units are expansive with 3,350 sf while Type C is a little more snug at 3,110 sf. Both penthouse types have 5+2 bedrooms and 5+1 bathrooms. All units, regardless of type, is allocated with 1 parking bay.

Shineville Park is packed with a generous amount of facilities such as a lounge, jacuzzi, viewing deck, lap pool, wading pool, recreational paths, gym, sauna, landscaped garden, playground, BBQ area, indoor badminton court, squash table, table tennis, tennis court and most importantly, 24-hour security.

Location wise, the accessibility to and from Shineville Park is decent as it is located nearby to popular tourist destinations like the Penang Hill. Connecting roads to the property would be the Thean Teik Highway and Jalan Air Itam. Due to the location, traffic congestions are quite the norm and residents need to take heed. Residents who wish to use public transportation would be out of luck as there is no public transportation that is available within a walkable distance from the property.

Overall, Shineville Parks’ main advantage is its modern design and plentiful facilities. However, it is quite a distance away from the city center and the first Penang bridge. Hence, the property may largely appeal to prospective buyers who prefer living in a more suburban area.
