Desiran Bayu has a small set of facilities, revolving around the lake that acts as a border to other residences. Living in Puchong Prima does have its advantages, especially when it comes to nearby amenities, which are abundant thanks to its proximity to other townships. The nearest hypermarket is located in the next township, which is a Giant in Putra Heights. Bandar Saujana Putra, which is another township across the residence, houses a commercial lot with restaurants and offices.

On the other hand, it takes less than half an hour to get to Puchong town centre, where industrial lots can be found, the town centre also houses commercial hubs that consist of workshops, offices, service centres, clinics, restaurants and bars. Other than that, IOI Mall and Tesco Bandar Puchong are also within the vicinity. Other townships that residents can visit for more amenities include Sepang, Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.

Desiran Bayu can be easily accessed via the ELITE Highway, which also links to Maju Expressway (MEX), hence creating convenient routes to places like the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Other highways that residents will be able to access include the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) and the KESAS Highway.
