What are the requirements for a foreigner to own a property in KL or Selangor? Also, anyone know what are the landed strata properties development available in these 2 prime area?

Hi derrick, 3 questions for the foreigner: where he intended to buy? he hold Malaysia My Second Home visa or not? The title of the property?

If he intended to buy property in KL, preoperty price cant be lower than RM1M, Selangor ZONE 1 & 2 Is RM2M, and Selangor zone 3 Is RM1M. Bear in mind, In Selangor zone 1 and 2 have a restriction that only can buy landed property with strata title.No auction property and agricultural land to be purchase by foreigners too.

Zone 1
- Districts of Petaling, Gombak, Hulu Langat, Sepang and Klang
Zone 2 - Districts of Kuala Selangor & Kuala Langat,
Zone 3 - Districts of Hulu Selangor and Sabak Bernam

If he intend to buy in Kedah, Penang, Perak, Sarawak, then it would be perfect if he hold MM2H visa because price restriction is lower than normal rate.

About strata titled development in KL and selangor area, you can try to find gated landed development area.Normally it come with strata title. Hope can help you out. Happy selling dude^^
