The Sime Darby Property Bhd (SD Property) Spotlight 8 campaign has hit RM1 billion in sales. Launched on the 13th of July 2019 and slated to end on 29th September 2019, the highly successful campaign has at the point of writing seen a total of 1,217 units sold.

The number of sales has proven that there is a demand for quality freehold landed homes that come with great location and attractive prices. The 8 locations included in the campaign were City of Elmina, Negeri Sembilan, KL East, Kajang, Serenia City, Subang Jaya, Putra Heights, and Bandar Bukit Raja. As part of the campaign, these properties came with attractive rebates on both existing properties and new developments.

In a statement, Wan said, “Our achievement is also possible with the supporting initiatives by the government like the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) and financing schemes. We are grateful for the government’s continuous support of the local property industry.”

Sime Darby also launched 3 new projects over the 12-week campaign period – Serenia Arina, in Serenia City, as well as Laman Lakeside and Kyra in Bandar Bukit Raja. Kyra, the second series of the Sime Darby Affordable Home Collection, was very well received and achieved a 95% take-up rate upon its launch.
