Sunway Property has been recognised by the Malaysian Book of Records (MBR) for being the first property developer to create the “First Property Customisation & Online Purchase System” for their integrated Sunway Grid project in Sunway Iskandar, Johor Bahru.
This revolutionary system allows users to book, customise, and purchase their preferred ‘convertible home’ within the said project, in just a few clicks.
According to Sunway Iskandar CEO Gerard Soosay, “We are honoured to be certified by MBR for being the first developer in Malaysia to launch digitally purchasable-and-customisable homes.”
He further added that, “Buyers only need to pay RM500 via a payment gateway to reserve the type (standard or loft), unit floor, view (river or harbour view), unit, layout, number of rooms and furnishings they prefer.”
Sunway Grid is a development that gives users full flexibility when purchasing their homes. The application was designed to provide convenience and quality of service to its users, while increasing the competitiveness of the Group’s development arm as a whole in the long haul, as they believe that the business’ future depends on technology.
Sunway Iskandar is a development that is affordably priced to attract youths. Personalisation is also a huge priority of the development. The project is fully integrated, and will comprise of shops, office, and residential components, designed in such a way to bring the youth community together.
The integrated development carries a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM402 million, where approximately 70% of the residential component has already been taken up. Sunway Property has invested RM1 billion into Sunway GRID Residences, which it holds a 40% stake in.
Sunway Iskandar is strategically located at only 5 kilometres from Singapore via the Coastal Highway Southern Link. Within a short radius from the residential components are also many entertainment spots including the Sunway Big Box Retail Park and X Park, as well as the Sunway International School.
