Property Developer, NCT Group of Companies (NCT Group) hosted a Ground Breaking Ceremony for its latest masterpiece development – Ion Forte Green City, in collaboration with Ayer Keroh Country Club (AKCC). The ceremony that took place at AKCC in Melaka was officiated by Melaka’s Chief Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Utama (Dr.) Hj. Sulaiman bin Md Ali, while the Founder and Group Managing Director of NCT Group, YBhg Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy as well as Chief Executive Officer of AKCCB, Datuk Wira Dr Ir Ahmad Zaini Bin Mohd Amin along with other senior state representatives were also present at the event.
Ion Forte Green City is located amidst Melaka’s lush ‘green belt’, set to complement the State’s frondescence. There will be 5 precincts spanning approximately 23-acres of development land, comprising luxury serviced residences, wellness suites, club house as well as a commercial complex.
NCT Group is proud to collaborate with the largest hotel chain in the world, Wyndham Hotels and Resort who will also be managing a branded residence within the development. The first phase development will commence in 2021 and is targeted for completion in 2024. The entire masterpiece development will take approximately 7 to 10 years to complete.
Set to revitalise Melaka's wellness industry by concentrating on eco-friendly lifestyle and wellness tourism, the amenities offer an experience of a kind. State-of-the-art lifestyle elements that will be included among the lush greenery with a clubhouse are among the main features.

Speaking at the event and after touring the Ion Forte Green City Sales Gallery, the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Utama (Dr.) Hj. During the ceremony, NCT Group presented a surprise donation to the Chief Minister with a development donation valued at RM 1 million to further endorse its pledge to contribute to the welfare of the historical state. The donation is intended to support Maahad Tahfiz Al-Quran & Al-Hadis Batu Berendam students.
