Taman Klang Jaya is an integrated township located in Klang among other townships such as Ambang Botanic 1 and 2, Bandar Bukit Tinggi 1 and Taman Desa Utama. Within the township itself, there are industrial land, landed properties and factories for sale. However, the crime rate in Klang has been on the rise and the residents are jittery with fear. According to them, criminals are getting bolder and resorting to committing crimes in broad daylight. In 2008, a Sri Andalas assemblyman almost became a victim when two men in full-face helmets on a motorcycle tried to attack his maid with a parang outside the main gate of his house in Taman Klang Jaya. The assailants fled when she screamed and ran into the house.
