Intan Apartment is a development located along Jalan Setiawangsa in Setiawangsa, within close proximity to Putri Apartment, Mahsuri Apartment, and Taman Setiawangsa. Basic facilities are provided by Intan Apartment with the Setiawangsa Business Park located just a short drive away. Intan Apartment remains a decent choice of residence for tenants in the low- to middle-income group. However, Setiawangsa has been home to petty crimes such as snatch theft and robberies, which have been frequently reported to the authorities. As a result, the Setiawangsa Residents Consultative Council (SRCC) was formed in May 2011 as a platform for residents to voice out their concerns in hopes of improving the Setiawangsa neighbourhood.
