Lakeview Apartment is one of the newer medium cost developments in the suburbs of Batu Caves, within the bustling city of Selayang. While centrally located with easy access to highways, the prices of the homes at Lakeview Apartment are still fairly affordable. This project was however almost halted in the middle of its development, as there was significant soil erosion on the site, with the blocks that are located closer to the slopes of the hill being the most affected. The erosion however only happened after five to six hours of non-stop heavy downpour when a landslip damaged a few vehicles at the bottom of the hill while the soil found its way into a row of houses. The developers however reacted responsibly, by sending workers down to help clear the soil from the houses immediately after they discovered the problem.
