Taman Impian Ehsan is a housing development located in the township of Balakong, consisting mostly of low cost developments. This peaceful neighbourhood is conducive to the upbringing of a family, making it highly suitable for those of the lower income bracket who work in the area. Highways are also highly accessible from this neighbourhood, making travel to the city convenient. It is however said that there are many foreign tenants residing in Taman Impian Ehsan who have less than decent manners. The residents of Taman Impian Ehsan experienced a cut on their water supply in February 2014, due to an unscrupulous oil plantation owner who dug a water channel to redirect water from the river to his oil plantation, resulting in a severe drop of water levels in the area and serious water issues for approximately 10,000 consumers in the area.
