One Residence @ Sekinchan is a bit of an oddity – not so much its shop lots, but definitely the high-rise two-block residence towering above the low buildings of coastal town, Sekinchan. The development consists of 280 units of condominium units, in addition to 7 triple-storey shops. Both condominium blocks have been completed.
Especially in the recent years, Sekinchan has become known for tourism, thanks to its fishing village, seafood and paddy fields. Thus, the residential units can be leased for short-term lodging. Their mid-air position ensures lovely views of the paddy fields and sea all around, depending on which side you face, as well as the magnificent sunsets.
Long-time Sekinchan residents who would like to upgrade their homes, or even working professionals who hold a day job in urban parts of Kuala Lumpur or Selangor, but prefer to stay in a more laidback area, One Residence @ Sekinchan is a good option. With at most eight units per floor, the condominium is still moderately low density.
The residence offers several facilities for residents and visitors alike, such as an infinity-edge half Olympic-sized swimming pool, jogging path, playground, badminton and basketball courts in a multipurpose hall, and a fitness gym. Safety is not likely to be a problem, as not only does the residence have 24-hour security services, but there is a police station just 350m away.
As the development is located within the town centre of Sekinchan, the shop lots also can be considered for investment and opening businesses such as eateries. Visitors can easily access the shops from Jalan Kuala Selangor-Teluk Intan, the main trunk road running through the area. That road also leads to other towns and cities in Selangor, KL and Perak, like Rawang and Teluk Intan (both about 75km away).
Within about 1km, there are three schools available – SK Seri Sekinchan, SJK (C) Yoke Kuan and SMK (C) Yoke Kuan. Residents of One Residence @ Sekinchan can also eat at one of the many restaurants and coffee shops in the town centre, fill their vehicle tanks with petrol from either one of the three stations nearby, or get their daily necessities from the mini marts around. There is even a Public Bank branch less than 500m away.
