Seri Orkid Apartment is a low-density apartment located in Butterworth, Penang. The apartment consists of a tower block that is 11 storeys high, and is also a low-cost apartment in nature. The apartment units average a built-up of 880 sf, and comes with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, suitable for young adults, working adults, and those with small families.
A 24-hour security system is the only addition to facilities within the apartment. This is due to the nature of older apartment complexes, mainly serving the purpose as a roof above one’s head. Despite the slight disadvantage, it does its job as a basic abode, and its security system is rather reliable. On top of that, Seri Orkid is nestled in a predominantly residential area, hence a more quiet surrounding.
Located off Jalan Thamby Kecil, Seri Orkid Apartment has the advantage of being close to the Bagan Ajam’s town centre, where most of the amenities in the area can be found. Within walking distance from the residences is a commercial area, where tenants can find banks, restaurants, pharmacies, service centres, offices and workshops.
Apartment residents will also enjoy a sea view thanks to its location along the coast, while Pantai Bersih is only a short drive away. This is also an added advantage for investors, as the units can be converted into tourist accommodations. Over at the Pantai Bersih area, residents will also be able to find a number of seafood restaurants and a commercial area which also houses a mini mart, where tenants can go to for groceries.
Seri Orkid Apartment can be reached easily via the Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR), which stretches throughout the district. Although traffic can be a problem due to it’s proximity to the town centre, there are trunk roads that can be used to avoid it. The highway also connects to the Butterworth-Kulim Highway, as well as the two Penang bridges, making travelling throughout the state a convenient one.
