Merdeka Villa is an aptly named condominium for being built on Jalan Merdeka, and is a relatively newer development with a combination of flat and apartment units that are very close to the city centre. While these homes may share the same facilities, their maintenance fees differ with the flat’s maintenance fees being RM0.07 psf while the apartment’s maintenance fees are RM0.11 psf. Constant grouses of residents would be the traffic congestion in the area caused by insufficient parking resulting in double parking on the roadsides and the high density within the community; but many bear with all these inconveniences for the easy and convenient access to public transportation and expressways that staying at Merdeka Villa offers along with the innumerous amenities at their doorsteps including a night market.
