The Pinggiran Cempaka townhouses and apartments are actually on the border of Taman Cempaka, right along the main road of Jalan Cempaka. They are sometimes referred to as belonging to Taman Cempaka.
Taman Pinggiran Cempaka is a residential area surrounded by Taman Cempaka, Taman Nirwana, Pandan Indah, Kampung Pandan and Pandan Jaya. Located parallel to the LRT line, the two closest Rapid KL hubs are Cempaka and Pandan Indah and slightly further along, Cahaya Rapid KL.
The area of Taman Pinggiran Cempaka is also right alongside the MRR2 expressway, dividing it from Pandan Indah across the highway with an exit into the main road of Jalan Cempaka, leading commuters into the housing estate.
A few surau€™ and a Sekolah Agama are located around this area. There are also Petronas and Caltex petrol stations, and a sanitary waste plant which services Taman Pinggiran Cempaka.
Lots of amenities and services are available within walking distance from Taman Cempaka. The newly opened Matahari Wholesale supermarket at Axis Atrium, Tesco Hypermarket, just 3km away and the Galaxy shopping mall are amongst the shopping places within the area.
