Situated side by side with other key neighbourhoods that include USJ, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Shah Alam, and Puchong, this township is a model of community living with quality affordable homes and surrounded by an extensive range of facilities including schools, shops, a hospital, a police station, a hypermarket, and parks.

As an up-and-coming suburb designed for modern lifestyle, residential areas in Bandar Saujana Putra consist of apartments, high-rise condominiums, terrace houses, semi-detached houses, and cluster homes. While the prices of essential goods have shown a variation in the Percentage Changes, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) on the other hand indicates a reality of ever increasing prices in essential goods with increments between the years 2011 - 2015 at 102.7 in 2011, 105.1 in 2012, 107.3 in 2013, 111.0 in 2014, 113.8 in 2015.
