Saujana is an affluent township located in Subang, Shah Alam. It is home to upper middle class Malaysians and a significant number of expatriates. Golf aficionados will love the location with the two golf courses nearby, namely the Saujana Golf & Country Club and Glenmarie Golf and Country Club.

Due to the very nature of the residents who live in Saujana, the privacy and security of the area is highly prioritised. While the population density of the area is on the low side, severe traffic congestions on the main road are the norm during peak hours due to the numerous constructions going on at the same time on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang.

Being the only main road to serve the inhabitants of Saujana, residents of this neighbourhood are prone to getting caught in this traffic gridlock. Living in this area is the epitome of convenience, with both the Citta Mall and Oasis Damansara located within a short drive away.

Consumer Price Index

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) line shows an increment in prices of essential goods on a yearly basis, while the Percentage Changes line shows the level of changes in price increments over the years. For example, a dip in the CPI line may indicate a low level of price increment as compared to the previous year while a surge in CPI line shows a high level of price increment as compared to the previous year.

While the prices of essential goods have shown a variation in the Percentage Changes, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) on the other hand indicates a reality of ever increasing prices in essential goods with increments between the years 2011 - 2015 at 102.7 in 2011, 105.1 in 2012, 107.3 in 2013, 111.0 in 2014, 113.8 in 2015.
