Cahaya SPK is a luxurious, resort township located in Seksyen U9 of Shah Alam, amongst other illustrious townships such as Bukit Jelutong, Sunway Kayangan and Sunway Alam Suria. Developed by SPK Homes Berhad, the resort township is sprawled across 500 acres of natural and tropical green terrain that caters to modern and healthy living, and provides superb accessibility to residents with all its amenities and facilities.

Cahaya SPK is expected to be another resort township to look forward to, with 78 acres of pristine lakes and canals, landscaped garden parks and wide open spaces interlaced with grassy green terrains, including a 3.2 km jogging path surrounding the lake. Adding value to the township is a fully-equipped clubhouse and an Olympic-length swimming pool provided for the leisure of the residents.

Another 12 acres of land is dedicated to developing the business and industrial hub of Cahaya SPK which will incorporate a combination of shop lots and office blocks. The advantage to living here is the low number of homes per acre. As there are only eight units per acre, residents will not have to worry about having their personal space being overcrowded with neighbours. Potential buyers looking for spacious mid-range priced homes to raise families within a secured community need not look far as Cahaya SPK ticks all the boxes as an ideal location to call home.

For example, a dip in the CPI line may indicate a low level of price increment as compared to the previous year while a surge in CPI line shows a high level of price increment as compared to the previous year.

The above graph shows 1.644% of price changes in essential goods such as rice, meat and tobacco between the years 2011 and 2012, while increasing in difference to 2.093% in 2013. Prices of essential goods then increasing to 3.448% in the year 2014 while surging by 2.523% in 2015.

While the prices of essential goods have shown a variation in the Percentage Changes, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) on the other hand indicates a reality of ever increasing prices in essential goods with increments between the years 2011 - 2015 at 102.7 in 2011, 105.1 in 2012, 107.3 in 2013, 111.0 in 2014, 113.8 in 2015.
