Bandar Putera Indah, situated in Batu Pahat, Johor, is a relatively new freehold township launched in 2002. The 1,288-acre township can be accessed via Jalan Parit Jalil and Jalan Tongkang Pecah. The latter leads to the North-South Expressway (NSE) at one end, from where residents can travel to other parts of Peninsular Malaysia.

At the other end of Jalan Tongkang Pecah, just about 10 to 12km away, is the Batu Pahat town centre, along with all its amenities and urban conveniences. There are at least ten schools in the vicinity of the town centre, such as the Sekolah Agama Bantuan Kerajaan, SMK Dato’ Syed Esa, SMK Munshi Sulaiman, SK Montfort and the International Medical University Clinical School. The government-funded Batu Pahat Hospital was also built here in 1991.

Job opportunities abound in the vicinity of Bandar Putera Indah. Other than being a commercial hub, the Batu Pahat town centre is also a focal point for various governmental offices, for example the Education Department of the Batu Pahat District, the city council and the local Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP) department.

Schools nearby Bandar Putera Indah include SRJK (C) Tongkang Pecah, SK Seri Binjai and SMK Tunku Putra, all in the adjacent Tongkang Pechah neighbourhood. The largest mall in Batu Pahat – aptly named the Batu Pahat Mall – as well as another major mall, Square One Mall, is just about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Other than housing various F&B outlets, healthcare shops and grocery stores, both malls have a MBO cinema.

So far, the properties of Bandar Putera Indah appear to be well received by the general public. Individual projects within the township consist of 1-storey low-cost shops situated in the outer part of the township, the Royal Garden double-storey semi-detached houses, Ivory Garden and Ivory Garden 2 double-storey terrace houses, and the Min Garden, Magma Garden, Magma Garden 2 and Emerald Garden 2 single-storey terrace houses.

These affordable properties are designed with streamlined, contemporary exteriors and interior layouts. Features of the homes include spacious terraces opening off the master bedrooms of the double-storey houses where residents can lounge and entertain their guests, and large windows that improve lighting and ventilation in the house.
