BRP 5 is a housing development mainly consisting of bungalows and semi-detached units in the planned township of Bukit Rahman Putra. Surrounded by many amenities and facilities, such as The Store Shopping Centre, NSK Trading Market, SMK Bukit Rahman Putra, SK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh, the Sungai Buloh Wet Market at Jalan Perusahaan 1 and a host of banks, petrol kiosks, clinics and shops in the nearby BRP 1.

Main concerns regarding this development are the poor quality of air in lieu of the surrounding industrial developments, and the traffic congestion in the mornings and evenings which make it very difficult for residents to commute to and from work.
